1. Choose necklace length.

2. Twist to front of body for easy viewing.

3. Secure chains at desired shortening location between the top of clasp and cushion insert.

4. Engage safety clasp if included.

5. Reposition clasp at the back of neck.

Tips: Necklace ends should be secured before shortening. Do not remove the cushion insert, it is necessary for shortening operation to hold chains in place. Position a single chain on each side of the center prong for secure hold.

Infinity Clips come in two sizes to fit a variety of chain styles including box chains, small link chains, rope chains, cable chains and more! They are not made to work with pearls or thicker chains over 2.5mm.

We currently offer small & large size clips for shortening chains up to 2.5mm thick.

Small Infinity Clips shorten necklace chains between 0.8mm & 1.5mm.

Large Infinity Clips shorten necklace chains between 1.3mm & 2.5mm.

The sizing is based on the largest measurement of the chain. For instance, a flat chain with a 2mm width would require a large size Infinity Clip.

We are happy to offer complimentary cushion replacements. Please send us a message through the contact form below with the quantity you need and your order number and we will send them right out to you.

The most common reason for this is that the chain you are trying to shorten is too thick for the size clip you are using. When this happens the clip can become bent out of shape and no longer close tightly. A quick fix for this is to put a little pressure on the clip in the open position.
